Jan 23, 2016 Completely agree with everything said and you know this place is delusional as f--- when Arch has the only reasonable post
Jan 24, 2016 Dre "produced" Kendricks albums and did nothing Dre "discovered" Kendrick and did nothing but let him appear in some beats commercials most overrated hip hop producer nowadays. compton was awesome tho, no h---
Jan 24, 2016 Where are people getting Medicine Man was the only song Dre didn't produce? I have the CD booklet and there are a bunch of songs on that album he didn't produce.
Jan 24, 2016 Regardless I'm glad it happened. I agree the chemistry wasn't really there.. Almost felt like two different songs (although in fairness a lot of the cuts on the album did as well). But what I'm thankful for is em delivered.. Big time. One of the best verses of the year in my opinion. He had a fire or something that had been lacking and the verse felt original. It was nice to see the return to form.. Hopefully he builds off the verse. He needs to tone it down though
Jan 24, 2016 Yeah this being 'the only track Dre didn't produce' is bs. Amazing verse from Em, best one in a while.
Jan 24, 2016 there is no beef or anything lmao em had the best verse on compton and his best since that shady xv cypher or mmlp2
Jan 24, 2016 i dont get whats wrong with eminem's voice tho? i thought he was doing that voice cuz of the super complex and technical flow he uses now days
Jan 24, 2016 Of course musically there is a distance because the fact is Dr Dre is and always has been cool for hip-heads to listen to his core fan base is black males from the hood not just in America but globally Eminem isn't cool amongst hip-hop heads and his core fan base is teenage girls from the suburbs globally. Of course he has a big male fan base too but his core fan base is teenage girls When they do collab and make classic songs like Die Hard where we get 1 of the best hooks ever, a great beat and great verses written for Dr Dre and classic songs like I Need A Doctor. Eminem's pop/teenage fan base will embrace the songs but Dr Dre's hip-head urban fan base will hate the song just based on Eminem being on it. Nore summed it up in an interview with Vlad Eminem is way, way, way too popular and mega huge as an artist, as a brand as a pop icon for hip-hop heads to like As friends they are cool i am sure very close to this day but these are the reasons they distanced them self musically
