I don't like how it sounds lmfao... Why would I want to replicate it when it sounds like a--- to me? I don't give a f--- how 'hard' it is.

Because you say you value a clear mix over a distorted one because you know what goes into it. Realizing how difficult a good, distorted mix is might help you appreciate it more.

Also if you take your work seriously you should always experiment with different soundscapes instead of locking yourself to a narrow style.

Kanye an innovator. Please hold my :jlaff:. Plus there are hundreds of innovators and the main one that you need to look out for is........... YOUNG THUG. Lol

Regarding the post. I grew up on old school NY hip-hop and now it's just evolved from that into something new, something we need to accept as being good in it's own way. I mean, how much big pun can I actually listen to? The music is so limited and feels outplayed after 15 years of listening.

Apparently most of us don't like music and hip-hop isn't original anymore

As much as I agree with everything else in your post, you really can't post anything that denies Kanye's impact on Hip Hop. Thugger most likely wouldn't be using autotune the way he does if it wasn't for 808s & Heartbreak.
