    Lo-Fi and grimy mixing is an aquired taste for most. I love it when there's lots of analog clipping and distorted bass, it's so murky.

    Definitely. A lot of great underground artists are still trying to replicate the illmatic sound.

    Lol please. All the beats released these last few years ain't original at all.

    Everything in hip hop has already been done to death.. nowadays artists are just trying to merge old sounds together and people think its new.

    Then try to replicate that analog grimy sound and see how hard it is. Trying to find the same magic on a digital platform is borderline impossible.
