It's what's between elementary school and highschool i believe. Don't know if it's only a US thing. We don't have those in Canada.Deadpool, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl, Music and 2 others like this. -

I'm usually not a misanthrope who likes to dwell on the past, but I guess it can sometimes be fun to reminisce with sakura tinted glasses even if it really was s---.
At the end of the 2nd grade, when I turned 8, my dad decided it would be a good idea to uproot our comfortable lives & move into the States cause business is apparently booming there were( even though the recession just took place, luckily though we ended up being unscathed by his boneheaded decision). My sister however embraced the idea & looked forward to the idea of migrating to the states, cause she was enamored by US culture and thought all the celebrities in the magazines were hotter than the guys in our country. It would always make me feel emasculated and self conscious of my own ethnicity & country, since we're very obviously foreign.
One the first day of school there, we had to introduce ourselves to the class and say what our hobbies were and all that balogna, every one of course was already well acquainted with each other and already I could tell the little devils were tribal as h---, as early as 3rd grade people started forming cliques and there was an arbitrary hierarchy, anyways when it came my turn I stood up (considered weird to do that when it's your turn to talk in this country, but we did it all the time back in my native country) and just stared at the teacher for like five seconds. Eventually she asked if I liked sports or what shows I watched, I ended up saying some really stupid s---. I said that I like to watch cartoons in subtitles, editing wikipedia/tvtropes, roleplay, and play guitar hero. Everyone looked at me for a few seconds and then in unison proceeded to laugh at me; I felt like Lt. Major Goose in hey arnold when everyone bawled out in front of his face.![[IMG]](http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/615/839/d2d.png)
At lunch time the kids were even worse, they pretended to want to be my friend, but after a while I realized that they would very rarely say anything but would constantly have a face that looked as if they were stifling a laugh. Eventually an indian kid, approached me, and told me that they were just amusing themselves cause I had a very thick accent. Apparently they did it to him too. It got worse though, in recess when everyone socialized; I would bring my DS lite & play by myself. Some kid, took interest in me when he saw I was playing Pokemon black & white and we started to s---t the s---. He seemed like a "cool" guy, I could've sworn he was friends with the kids who would harass me at lunch, but I guessed he must've been one of those "I do my own thing, i'm too cool for school" type kids. I was annoyed & suspicious at first, but eventually warmed up to the guy. I felt satisfied at least that I made one friend and wanted to make more, since it was honestly nice talking to someone else, but I was scared and needed a push. Also
.
Well that didn't last long, cause my ds lite was stolen from me when I left it in my desk (it was hidden/sandwiched between my books) and it ended up getting stolen while I was absent one day (I forgot to bring the ds home one day and left it at school). Our desks are open, and when someone asks for notes if they missed a day they just swap a notebook from their friends desk, well anyways when I arrived back the next day it was gone. I asked around and asked my friend but he just looked dumbfounded and in complete disbelief. We both sit next to each other at the back of the class btw, so it'd be very easy for him to just stealthily take it right under my nose. Well, whatever the case he ended up bringing a ds to school about a month after I lost mine. It looked suspiciously similar to mine except the case cover was a different color, he even had the same game (!). When I noticed he even had the same exact pokemon as I did just a few levels higher. I mentioned, in a passive aggressive manner, that we have the same exact pokemon and even same character name. He got irate with me and asked I'm accusing him, I said it's just a little weird that he happens to get a new ds soon after I lose mine, same color (different case tho), and same pokemon and trainer name. He just started getting up in my face and shoved me, to which I socked him. Unfortunately, he was bigger than me & I got my a--- kicked.I also got in trouble with the principle for assaulting him, but tried to explain that he stole my DS. Of course she asked for evidence, and when I told her, she said that it's not enough.
I was forced to write an apology letter, which was beyond humiliating, and at that point I pretty much shut myself away from social interaction for a long time. I lost my one and only friend and was bullied even worse by my cohorts. Notebooks had pages ripped out and hurtful s--- written in it telling me to go back to my country and that no one wants me here. Throughout middle school all the way to 7th grade I pretty much was that one kid that while not the most awkward or even shy, was just there. I may as well have been a desk, my teachers assumed that I was lazy because I didn't do homework or participated in class, but would usually get pretty good grades in my tests. I didn't even associate with the other "weirdos" because I thought I was too good for them, and felt that if I wanted to be popular and be at the top of the class, I could do it. I always looked down on them like I was a lone bourgeois and they were peasants aiming to be aristocrats but were destined for failure. So while I always looked down on them with an air of condescension like they were Urkels but really I felt more like

My last few years of High School I went to an "alternative school" for people who disrupt the class or for fighting..etc etc
Anyway, I wouldn't say this is my worst experience.. but I got caught messing around with a chick in the sports equipment closet, I was about to get busy, until we got caught... by one of her friends.. whom I was already in a sexual relationship with. She gave me a witching look..and slammed the door... they were still friends, but she wouldn't talk to me anymore..lol
