    I don't ever see Schoolboy at Kendrick's caliber. BUT, I was watching YouTube videos and I noticed Kendricks video plays were not much higher than Q's. And Kendrick had far far more hype and buzz than Q. So this show's that Q can make the hit's. Here's the 3 biggest video's from there first album's.

    Kendrick -

    Swimming pools = 75,727,272
    Poetic justice = 50,245,048
    BDKMV = 46,077,500

    Schoolboy -

    Collard Greens = 62,149,584
    Studio = 35,726,997
    Man of the year = 41,731,291

    Schoolboy Q is definitely one of the best from West Coast right now, but I don't really know if he's ever gonna be as big as Kendrick is tbh.

    I feel like Q's views numbers on Youtube are so high just because he's from the same camp as Kendrick... or I am wrong, it's hard to tell.

    It's the matter of his next LP.

    Q probably couldn't but I wouldn't be surprised if he proved me wrong.

    Vince Staples, YG and Kendrick are the leaders of the west at the moment.

    I see Q top 3 after his next album. He can get the big features like Kendrick, Yg ect.ect. at the same time he can hold his own and write catchy hooks.

    I don't agree. If he was getting those views because he's with Kendricks camp then jay rock and ad soul would be getting those views as well. And they don't.

    Yup, but I've said I might be wrong about this.
    I'm really hoping for his next album to be as successful as possible.

    Not going to lie, I think school could low key run the west for a min. Not the same time spand that Kendrick can and not leave the same impact. But I feel like Q has it in him.

    Q won't be running s---. He'll always be mid tier rapper and I think he's comfortable with that.

    Honestly I don't. I don't think he like's living in Kendrick's shadow. If young thug can be one of the biggest out when people can't even understand what he's saying I think Q can do some s---.

    For real though you can't compare youtube plays ....

    Their rapping styles are different. Not to mention Schoolboy Q has a different fan base than Kendrick.

    They cleary have different styles. And I wasn't basing there entire career on YouTube views. However judging off YouTube views alone school can clearly make hits. He can get the production and features he needs to make a classic. Once he's got one classic dude's on.

    You're overestimating how big thug is irl. Don't let this forum fool you. Q doesn't have the raw talent needed to be one of the best. He's an entertaining rapper though and can be introspective at times.

    Lol. Guess you're right. I've never even met a young thug fan in real life... However I think you're underestimating Q. Take a look back at 2005 and what rapper the game did. He single handedly brought the west back and took down the biggest rap group at the time. Rather or not if you're a game fan one can't deny the truth. And Game was no lyrical mastermind of a rapper. After last year people are watching the west under a microscope and 2016 just might be even a bigger year.

    I have no doubt what so ever. Even though I love his new singles they don't seem like they are taking off like his past singles.
