    i might like beast mode as a project more than both slime seasons. obviously there are certain songs on both slime seasons better than any single track off beast mode tho

    First 5 tracks all range from really good to great but their some filler/forgettable tracks within the next 8 tracks. Amazing, Knocked Off and Numbers just seem to be kind of filling up space. They aren't bad, they just aren't very compelling/stand out tracks. I skip them d--- near every time because it feels like Thug rapping on auto pilot. Even songs like Dream and OD which I have no major problems with, pale in comparison to the first 5 tracks that open the album. They're just alright.

    Numbers is a weird one because I don't mind that you skip it but saying its a placeholder doesn't seem right. It's part of the main emotional arc of the project. OD (an ode to his mom/sister), numbers (an ode to the youth in Atlanta), and just might be which ties everything together.

    But as I said, I don't judge these things on a track by track basis. If I did SS1 would easily be the winner

    In this thread especially, I'm talking about the 2 projects that played the best front to back for me.
