    It's better to find someone you care about, respect, then love them... eventually they WILL become your best friend.

    Do it in that order. That said, one of my fiance's friends moved in with a girl as a roommate, they began to hook up, and are now married. soo it's just about maturity

    If you're "best friends" with a girl (which is weird in itself), one person already wants to pursue a sexual/romantic relationship. They may not act on it, but purely platonic male/female relationships don't happen.
