we are literally doing the thing they wish we would do..there is a page in that site where they went "yo you listing tpab?? remove it so we can create the exact same played out s-----y tactic to get people to talk"

pitchfork did it years ago with Eminem and they blew the f--- up

I'm not arguing just for arguing :s I'm discussing the list, and my issues with it.

I'm disappointed that you, a poster I like and respect, chose to ban me without warning. Especially considering I'm not name calling or anything of that nature. ESPECIALLY considering he was replying to my posts an he can chose not to. In fact, many posters after me came to the same conclusions I did, and weren't met with a ban.

My original knocks against this list still stand.

Are there great projects listed here? Absolutely. Were more notable releases excluded for ulterior motives? Duh.

The whole "see we're not mainstream" thing get attention like @Koolo said. Ironically, the exclusion of TPAB is more discussed than any of the releases on this list, which casts a shadow over these write ups.

I mean, Kendrick dropped the most critically adored project of the year, and it was eaten up by fans of Kendrick and other, less hiphop engaged, listeners. There's absolutely NO excuse as to why it should be excluded, other than to make a statement.
