    lmao classic Recovery Em...hey, whatever he did, it worked for him right lol....I used to dig this song, especially the 2nd verse, thought it was really sincere and nice...now it is cringe worthy.

    I still don't understand the project of this song .. I just listen it again .. He was in another world when he made this track.

    It's a bad attempt at being personal, something that used to come so easy to him. Difficult is ions better.. You can hear how defeated he is. One of the most pain-ridden songs I've ever heard

    Melatonin line is very embarrassing. In 2011 I loved the hook and the second verse, especially the ending. I relistened to Recovery today, great album, better than MMLP2, the flow isn't choppy, although he screams a lot. Still remember high school and how we used to discuss his music. Good times.

    not really considering he was heavily depressed and very clearly high and/or drunk.

    Yeahhhh... It's sub par at best. This is probably the most disappointing song in Eminem's career tbh. It was the first song he willingly released about Proof since his death. It should have been incredible like... At least on par with Going Through Changes. It's littered with corny bars and horrendous singing though. I remember first hearing it and I was just like wow.... That was so underwhelming.

    Lol at this thread and OP. You're Never Over is a great track. Corny, yes, but still a great song from Recovery. Will post back tomorrow when less drunk and when i give a f---.

    Some times I wonder.... Does he ever go back and listen to older music he recorded and listen to the music he makes now? Like, he has to realize that he's not the same artist he was... I mean, I would assume he notices lol. Even in his drugged out days when songs like Difficult, Beautiful and Careful What You Wish For were written, you could tell he still had it. Then all of a sudden, he starts writing songs like You're Never Over? Something had to have changed with his writing process and I've always wondered what?

    Substance, emotion, a message, catchy hook but with meaning, good beat, good flow and passion. What more can u ask for?
