Dec 8, 2015 I Want Freestyle - Pretty impressive that you managed to freestyle that 2nd verse, it felt very natural and there wasn't any major loss in pacing, normally I'd figure there would be a moment of silence before someone starts spitting again haha. Ur Mind - The vocals sort of dampened the experience but I can see the huge Thugger influence during the first half before that double-time flow. Definitely gotta work on that sing-song flow but once you get that down you gonna be a problem

Dec 10, 2015 @Narsh I gave this tape a listen, and your flow has gotten so much better over the last 12 months. My issue with your rap voice is your ability to enunciate, and while some rappers get by on that, I feel like your voice comes out too muddy on some tracks. It's an easy fix though, just YouTube some vocal exercises. Other times the experimental flows you use like Off The Boat just don't work for me. Your ear for production is solid, but I feel like you need to dumb some of these tracks down. ur mind is a great example of a song in which you took a simple approach and it paid off. It's one of the better songs on the tape. Sounds a lot like Thug. Compare that joint to Off The Boat, and OTB really does sound like a mess with the layered vocals/starts and stops on the vocals at times. ayyyyy is another example of a very simple joint that turned out great. I don't like I Don't Mind It at all. Not the production, not the hook, not the way your voice is drowned up by that wack production either. Other than that, good effort man. You're making strides, but you're a long way from finding what your sound really is. On this tape, you're somewhere between Young Thug and a full experimental Narsh. I still don't know who the real Narsh is after hearing this top down. It's coming together for you though, keep working and keep improving man. Good job. A lot of good insight here tho thanks man I'm a bit confused on how off the boat is a mess partly because of the layering but aaay works haha if anything the latter is more messy to me... Dec 10, 2015 at the 1:40 mark in Off The Boat, I didn't like how the hook overlaps the verse. ayyyy is way more experimental with that flow, yet it sounds better because the song has undisturbed forward progression. That probably doesn't make sense, but I hope you understand what I mean.
