Like, what the f---... I love TPAB as well but going to stupid lengths to s--- off an album is baffling.
Someone even said they only keep 10 albums on their PC at all times... What kind of poverty s--- is that? -

now this doesnt mean tpab is bad .. its not just good either..its f---in amazing...but musically i enjoy s80 more..and gkmc is on a COMPLETELY different levelasvdawg, Ordinary Joel, Swizz and 3 others like this. -

TPAB is too bloated, lays it on too thick (a problem with all 3 of his albums), and kendricks rapping, ironically, really feels soulless on a lot of the cuts. It forces it's emotional arcs rather than letting them surface naturally, it shows its hand too often, and is really just filled with the worst qualities of kendricks writing more often than not.
I still like it, and think it's a good album, but its not one of the best of the year and is definitely not better than gkmcImmy, Mike Tyson, gorealsteady and 3 others like this. -

I question if people who think Kendrick broke musical barriers have actually heard acts like outkast who clearly influenced the sound of TPAB.
Good-Great album but is clearly worse than GKMC and even S80 to me.Ordinary Joel, Swizz, Poohdini and 2 others like this. -
