Nov 4, 2015 R.I.P Genius. It will become the first site in which lyrics get release dates & push backs.
Nov 4, 2015 Wait so what is this site? It just has song lyrics? Those sites have been around since the 90s. How is this different?
Nov 4, 2015 There is a breakdown of what the lyrics mean & what not. it can be helpful for alot of those who have a problem understanding slang words, or for those who dont speak english as their first language.
Nov 4, 2015 this site is different because a bunch of know-it-alls control the edits and half of the lyrics get written wrong and stay like that
Nov 4, 2015 Doesn't sound that innovative to me. Do the artists actually contribute? Like give commentary on the lyrics and what they mean, the making of the song, etc? That'd be cool.
Nov 4, 2015 very rarely, the mjaority of the artists that contribute are nobodies. took them 2 months nearly to fix the lyrics of medicine man that i suggested. the editors are lazy and downvote even the CORRECT fixes, its bs and i dont think it will last, soon... it will be freely editable.
Nov 4, 2015 for example, some goof still hasnt fixed this http://genius.com/7517104 its "just give me the orders" these editors FIX one thing, and f--- something else up everytime without fail
Nov 4, 2015 How have you not heard of this? It has grown to be the most popular and most in-depth(for better and worse) lyric sites on the Internet. It has its own app, and features contributions in text and video form of artists explaining their own words.
Nov 4, 2015 Well the guy has no life anyway, might as well further waste it by professionally annotating lyrics on Genius
