Oct 26, 2015 not much. jimmy bought the rights to the hook for Em and nothing happened with it. around Recovery I think? maybe a bit after.
Oct 26, 2015 I still remember all those keys to the city rumours. I wish that track surfaced even though we know nothing about it
Oct 26, 2015 It sucks we'll never hear these. I never understood keeping so much material in the vault, for any artist. I get the record company probably wants something to put out after the artist dies/retires but come on. Especially now, they could release a 5 track ep on iTunes and make a killing.
Oct 26, 2015 Its kept in the vault because the artist doesn't think its good enough to come out. Thats why we never heard detox and got a great album like Compton. There are exceptions though like difficult, cocaine, inad and many more but we will most likely never hear them because em said they weren't good enough to his standards. Remember we did hear wee wee so they all arent golden.
Oct 26, 2015 young thug x keef mixtape carnage and Mo City Flexologist - tarvi$ scoot livin like birdman, grindin remix, wayne collabs
Oct 26, 2015 I understand that, but he could release s--- from 99-03 and it would sell. Even if it wasn't up to his standards at the time that material would be mostly great. Some of those songs were just cut off from albums because they didn't quite fit on the album, that doesn't make those songs bad, it just didn't fit a certain sound or theme.
Oct 27, 2015 Out of topic, but I just relistened to Our House from 2000. Oh man, this song is just great. Just beyond amazing. How much I miss 2000s. The time was great. Nostalgia. Eminem is the goat. I really wanna hear Relapse 2, Recovery sessions, MMLP2 sessions, everything.
Oct 27, 2015 That's not always the case at all. Change of directions and scrapped albums are another major reason. The songs could still be great however they just don't fit in with the theme of the album.
Oct 27, 2015 That may be tru but the last few em albums i sensed no theme at a just thrown together tracks....maybe its just be but mmlp2 is a clusterfuck...but that is a good point you make
Oct 27, 2015 I'm more referring to songs for scrapped projects like Relapse 2 or maybe King Mathers. Some of the songs no doubt would have been good but the entire direction he may have decided to change. Also songs never released from 99-03 a lot would probably s--- on recent tracks. The Ronnie song for example. That wasn't on MMLP due to family threatening to sue or something. Sometimes songs aren't released not just due to not being up to scratch.
