    I mean if that's not influence on the genre idk what is.

    Rappers today reap the benefits from what eminem did, imo. Not that eminem paved the way for them, just the commercial success of rap.

    Man i told what "is" lol...Eminem definitely influenced hip hops commercial viability. i dont know how many different ways i can say that

    Artist like Kanye and Wayne actually changed the soundscape of the genre and influenced artists directly. Form J Cole to Drake, these f---s wouldnt exist without TCD/808s kanye, for example. Emienm really didnt have that sort of impact. He had his own niche which he excelled in.

    He said 2 of the best, not the 2 best. And you said 'nas > jay and wayne'. Not relevant to what he said at all. Wayne and Jay are, just like Nas, 2 of the greatest ever
