People who hate Eminem:
Delusional Pro blacks who think Em is a culture vulture and is racist
White girls who think he only talks about raping women
Hipsters who think it's cool to hate on him cause that's what the "hood's" doing
(and their definition of the hood is black twitter).

Eminem was once universally considered the best rapper alive, and since he fell off from that standard he's been under strict criticism. Now it's cool to hate Eminem because that means you have your taste of music that no one's going to dictate (and Eminem was practically dictated in his prime). Hating Eminem today means you're an independent thinker.

I've never seen anyone get so lyrically analyzed as Eminem. Every small slip up is magnified to the extreme, while Kanye and the rest get away with all sorts of idiotic lines because they were never put on such a high pedestal lyrics wise as Eminem.

Eminem is still good, and to me, better than anyone else. Recovery is a classic along with the first 3 albums, and I believe his next one has that potential too. h---, addressing the hate and falling off is an album concept he could pull off.

And I don't think anyone loves rap and rapping as much as Eminem does. He's rap personified. He seems to have no life outside of rapping. He's so focused on technical aspect of rap, rhyming insane number of syllables (for better or worse), and really enjoying what he does. And that part has consistently been getting better (not counting Encore). He's technically more complex now than ever before, and also fitting an insane number of wordplays. He used to be straightforward with not a lot of word play involved.

Whatever you think about him now, you can't deny the guy really loves rap, probably more than any other rapper.

ok lets ignore youtube for a second...i was arguing with someone so i spent about an hour going into the biggest hip hop forums...and i went to exactly 9...i went and searched for Eminem topics..and HOLY s--- is this guy hated

people literally RIOTED when someone brought up an idea to have an eminem sxn on their forum ( @Dew )

MANY people called the weeknd pathetic for allowing eminem to rap on his song...dudes i s--- you not..the hate is in unreal

honestly I think most ppl react to eminem's r-----ed fan base rather than em's music itself. if you isolate the music (something nearly impossible to do since he's the biggest artist in the genre) he's pretty d--- impressive. his '98-'03 run is flawless and everything since then has been pretty hit or miss. gun to my head I still think he's the most talented rapper on the planet right now, he just makes some terrible creative decisions/gets awful advice. he'll forever be the most overrated and underrated rapper dead/alive--just depends which side you're on.

I used to sorta "hate" Eminem I guess, but that was mainly because he was everywhere and radio was playing LTWYL and s--- that i didn't like, so people would always talk about him and id be like "i dont like".

I'd say a portion of the hate he gets now/why people are so vocal about hating him, is because of the fans online. Like, seriously majority are just ridiculous. especially youtube comments from stans;

And they actually believe that he is the best rapper alive, which is ok cause it's their opinion, but they will srsly post things like "eminems better" or "eminems the best" or "no other rapper compares to eminems skill" about literally any other artist. I know for me, and a lot of other people would agree too, that it comes off as a "I've only ever listened to a few rappers on the radio and eminems entire discography" and they speak like they have some fountain of knowledge on rap when they only know about Eminem and his shady crew.

I think that the majority of the hate Eminem receives is because it nowadays has become a trend to jump on the hate-wagon and just hate him. Like many did with for example Drake when Meek Mill came out with that ghostwriter thing. As soon as they get the opportunity to hate they take it and well, hate. Not necessarily because they hate him that much but because they don't enjoy his music and must take it to the extreme to show that. This is just what I think though.

Honestly, I'm not the one to judge. Eminem is the only rapper I find entertaining, and I've been listening to Eminem since MMLP. Rap may become whatever it becomes, but I'll take Eminem over Drake any day.
