Oct 6, 2015 tyler does distortion >LOL TRASH >LQ AF >TERRIBLE >Bad gameplay, online is shotty, 4/10 IGN Kanye does distortion >a life altering musical experience >changed music >goat album >classic Chad loves Kanye, but the Yeezus nut hugging seems odd to me.
Oct 6, 2015 i actually liked cherry bombs production a lot what i didn't like was that it sounded legitimately like he rendered the entire album at 100kbps
Oct 6, 2015 cherry bomb was trash besides maybe 4 songs (only two come to mind, Brown Stains(?) and Smuckers)
Oct 6, 2015 WZRD really had a few great tracks. This one is great as well. I f---in' loved that track back then:
Oct 6, 2015 Complete opposite here lol Although I have grown fond of 808s. But Yeezus and everything after the fact still leaves a somewhat bad taste in my mouth and ears.
Oct 6, 2015 We gotta make a Cudder Appreciation Thread and post all his unreleased stuff and mixtape songs. There are so many gems on youtube, it's like a treasure chest
Oct 6, 2015 see, i have a thing for raw distorted synths and in your face dubstepish s--- like that production like on h--- Of A Life/Black Skinhead/I'm In It is my f---ing jam something about that kind of s--- just resonates with me so well, i almost find it soothing even tho it's so abrasive at times
Oct 6, 2015 chad just finds Yeezus to be edgy like, an attempt at creativity, not spontaneous creativity it's like the Adam Lanza of Kanye West albums, just edge edge edge
Oct 6, 2015 See thats the thing, it's too abrasive and raw for my tastes aside from New Slaves and Black Skinhead. I still dont see the praise for it.
Oct 6, 2015 At least he is self-aware of himself. Em! You are next! Apologize for that dissapointing sequel.
Oct 6, 2015 i guess this is where we differ i love stuff like Yeezus. very much feel the vibe from the songs and the sounds and instruments used
Oct 6, 2015 Idk actually I guess it depends on who was orchestrating a particular project like that. I can really appreciate the rawness from certain records I just don't think Kanye executed it to the best of his ability and thats where it falters for me. It's not the worst thing ive ever heard, but its like a 5.5/10 in my book. Just not my cup of tea. Send It Up really did a dent for me. I didn't care for my whiny synth or the arrangement at all. Maybe it was intentional?
Oct 6, 2015 im actually iffy on Sent It Up's production at times so I can't really comment on that, but barring a couple other things I absolutely adore the album
