    i actually liked cherry bombs production a lot

    what i didn't like was that it sounded legitimately like he rendered the entire album at 100kbps

    I don't think he exactly admitted to falling off. It was more of him saying, I did the music I did now i'm trying something else. And by him trying something new his base fan's may or may not like the change.
