Sep 30, 2015 My parents never let me watch it when I was that young. It was like letting a little kid watch South Park back then. This was in 1994-95. Simpsons was in its prime and more vulgar back then.

Sep 30, 2015 I think that's kind of brilliant, rather than just a callback to the pilot, end the last episode with a couple scenes directly from to the beginning of the pilot. Since the characters don't age and most episodes could really happen in any order, this would be pretty cool. That being said, since Al Jean is publicly talking about it, it probably won't happen!
Sep 30, 2015 Have the last season be full of life lessons as the cast finally begin to age. Would be horrible I know but at least you'd have a different feel and an end that'd be realistic.

Oct 1, 2015 I haven't watched most of the seasons past 15 or so, but I did see a few random episodes and they weren't as bad as I was expecting. Did anyone happen to catch the season premiere? I didn't even know about it but might be curious to check it out if it sounds decent. I'm not that interested in the simpsons right now but I will be if/when they announce they'll be done soon, I'd like to at least pay attention to their last season or so. Also I'm hoping they go out with another movie.
Oct 1, 2015 It should end but they'll keep going no doubt. It ended for me after the Behind the Laughter episode. That would've been a good finale.
Oct 1, 2015 I wouldn't really care if it ended. Almost nothing past season 10 has really captivated me much.
