    I'm a hard marker when it comes to labeling classics. I don't like the word being thrown around. Just like how guys throw around a 10 ratin on b------s like it's nothin but that's another story. For me it's

    Lose Yourself
    Stan
    Sing for the Moment
    Real Slim Shady
    Without Me
    Cleanin' Out My Closet
    The Way I Am
    Not Afraid (hesitant putting this in but it was huge)
    Love The Way You Lie

    I don't consider Mockingbird a classic, nor do I consider Like Toy Soldiers a classic. They're great songs but I don't put them in the classic category. I'm also mainly referring to singles. There's other songs which would compete but I'm mainly referring to a mainstream, overall point of view. I may have forgotten one or two but that's my quick list.

    Yeah but it became his best selling single so it's hard to not put it in the classic category.

    If I Had, Till I Collapse, White America aswell It's all opinion based though and Love You More is top 5 for me so idk dont take my opinion to seriously

    Yep. I was also hesitaant to put Not Afraid in but both that and LTWYL made him the only artist to have two songs go diamond in the soundscan era or something and since I'm looking at it from a mainstream/overall almost official point of view they've gotta go in.

    Basically I'm asking if he had a hall of fame plaque in some official place what would the classics be considered. Because Nut Up and Die Hard certainly won't be on there haha

    Basically non negotiable classics. Ones that whether you hate or love you have to say is a classic. Like Lose Yourself. Classic. No discussion.

    If you're comparing LTWYL and Not Afraid to LTS they made him the only artist to have two diamond singles in the soundscan era. They're a lot bigger than LTS.

    Okay. I'm half asleep on a graveyard shift. Badically I just want to discuss what his non negotiable classics would be in people's opinion. I just made mine and am answering questions as to why I made mine my way I'm not saying it's correct.

    Yeah I know he's had a fuckload of #1s but surely being #1 doesn't make something a classic straight up.

    He's had so many hits i want to see what peoples decisions for his upper echelon/top tier would be

    I'm just saying if I was asked to list what his stone cold classic songs were but taking into consideration impact/commercial success over opinion a bit more. Rather than listing your favourites list what you think his most classic songs are instead.

    Those would be my answers. I'm also wondering what others answers would be.

    Is it making more sense now haha
