Aug 18, 2015 Saw someone bring up a good point as far as errors go, they showed Pac recording with Dre and death row before Eazy died when Pac didn't even get out of jail until 7 months after Eazy died. Oh well, I see why they did it cuz it made more sense to have that scene there instead of after Eazy's death. A few other things were a little off too but doesn't bother me, I know they had to change things a bit for the movie.
Aug 18, 2015 Yea. They also skipped the entire Eazy-Dre beef, but it's all good. I understand they couldn't include everything when they were literally cramming ten years of history into a two hour movie.
Aug 18, 2015 Movie is really really good. Knew i'd enjoy it, but didn't think it'd be this good. Like others have said though, few minor things here and there, but it is an NWA movie and showing the Dre/Eazy beef would've created another story arc which is somewhat unrelated to the rest of NWA, pushing the movie another 20-30 mins longer (imo). Really like how they portrayed the DOC, though they could of had a short scene after the hospital where he says "i cant rap so ill just focus on writing". something minor like that, would've added a lot. But I'm just nitpicking, the film is great. Also, on the topic of the Dre/Eazy beef. That scene where Dre just finishes DJing and talks to E and E is just like "nice heels and dress" or some s---. Figured that was probably a nod to it, if they included the Eazy/Dre beef in the film it'd also have to have more detail on Snoop for a while and show the release of f--- wit dre day. At first i was kinda like "typical sensitive Dre, leaving bad s--- about himself out" After a while though, I kinda realized that Eazy and Dre calling each other names is really minor/insignificant compared to the rest of the movie.
Aug 23, 2015 IDK if it was cuz I was baked or what but that Eazy scene towards the end was emotional af
Aug 23, 2015 Oh it was. I was trying not to cry cuz I was with my friends lol. Could you imagine getting that news though? "The average person has 1500 t-cells, you currently have 14." f---..
Aug 23, 2015 n----- I was sitting there with watery eyes like "dude you're too high it ain't even that sad you're gonna look like such a b---- if u cry" lmao When cube walked up the b------s behind us were blowing into tissues they were crying so hard lol
Aug 23, 2015 dead a---, that eazy scene was mad emotional. i liked everything about the movie except the scenes where dre shows out. i somehow doubt that dre was in the studio slapping bloods and getting in to it with suge. snoop was scared for his life right before pac got killed, i doubt dre was any different. i would be scared too if i'm honest. i guess i see that it was the best way to illustrate a drift between death row and dre, but i was sitting there at the end like " word?"
Aug 23, 2015 Totally agree. I highly doubt Dre actually did that. But yea that was basically a way of showing the violence at Death Row, which is why Dre and Snoop left.
Aug 24, 2015 Movie came off as total progaganda but I thought it was dope. dragged a bit tho which really shouldn't happen when u have so much good material to work with A lot of favorite scenes..and it was deff emotional So much lost potential
Aug 24, 2015 Only problem i got with this is all the people at my school that are gonna act hard asf cuz they watched this movie. Like alright it was a tight movie but n----- you aren't a f---ing thug (still haven't seen the movie but still, bye felica)
