Jul 24, 2015 It's not an 'ether' because Nas got takeover'd Still, it was a good 'diss' even though I agree that was wrong and disgusting to say
Jul 24, 2015 yeah i don't think eminem is leading protests against people using the word. he just doesn't use it. wtf are you even talking about? lmao
Jul 24, 2015 I want to apologize on how I went about making this thread. I wasn't level-headed and grounded about my points as I usually am. I still believe that Eminem prefers to start controversy with people who have less influence in the hiphop community, but I was wrong for the way I went about expressing it (particularly with the whole "White Suburban Stan" thing).
Jul 24, 2015 If Hailie decided to release a R&B EP on iTunes from nowhere it would outsell anything Ja Rule has dropped since 2004. You guys should reconsider what's really getting "ethered"
Jul 24, 2015 OP is saying something similar to if someone owns and shoots a gun it's hypocritical for them not to own and drop nukes because they're both weapons
Jul 24, 2015 oh shut the f--- up you f---ing moron. equating "gender slurs" (lol) with racial slurs is a typical course of action for someone who lacks perspective. You're conveniently ignoring the colloquial connotations of "n----" vs. "b----" or "c----". "Gender slurs" is another addition to the new age, politically correct, pseudo intellectual lexicon heralded by the liberal, academic, privileged fools who call themselves social activists. Racial slurs carry more weight because of the history they are sourced from. Racism is never equatable with sexism or homophobia, to think otherwise is to misunderstand the entire discourse of all three phenomena. You're ignoring so much s--- in your foolish, childish analysis that this entire thread is laughable. Eminem doesn't say n---- because that's completely inappropriate and utterly pointless. He only continues to bate and "attack" women/gays because they constantly try to isolate and label him a homophobic sexist, so he toys with them. He trolls that entire sphere of thought constantly solely because they consistently try to label him. He plays into the role just to f--- with them. But more importantly, from a commercial perspective, that has become part of the brand called "Eminem".
Jul 24, 2015 Eminem disses Iggy Azalea (who did nothing to him) but not Lord Jamar (who got famous making videos about him)? This makes no sense. I still believe Eminem is holding back on dissing Lord Jamar because, even though he'd totally win, it would divide the hiphop community between traditional and 21st century hiphop. This is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. But he disses artists who never said anything about him?
Jul 24, 2015 Jamar didn't really say anything about Eminem. He said he doesn't relate to his music, but appreciate Em has studied the rap game and admitted he's a h--- of a rhymer. Ross said Eminem is a honkey. Eminem is a honkey. What is there to say?
Jul 24, 2015 Btw I just saw that Ross video for the first time So he called Em a "honkey" f---in Azealia Banks can do a better diss, glad Em didn't say anything back, this was pathetic.
Jul 24, 2015 whats wrong with saying c---- i call girls who are c----, c----. i feel as if im doing a public service... like.. "girl you are a c----, stop being a c----"
Jul 24, 2015 Would you call a black person who you didn't like (and not necessarily all black people) a slur as well?
Jul 24, 2015 But Eminem disses Asher Roth for saying something that could only very loosely be construed as a diss...
Jul 24, 2015 Yes,but not a racial slur, because I don't hate them because they are black but because they are c---- Do you see the difference ?
