Em isnt irrelevant, it doesnt matter how much you hate him...google searches/sales/video views..etc of Em is bigger than any other rapper...trust me i research so much cuz im marketing my forum and numbers wise..Em > kanye>drake>wayne>jcole>kendrick

Just because forum users are too cool to listen to Eminem in this day and age, doesn't mean he's not gonna top charts with new singles and albums and sell ridiculous numbers on solo projects. He's definitely not irrelevant.

He's been irrelevant since 2010.

He wobbled with Encore & Relapse then came back with Recovery. A poppy reinvention of himself with subject matter to rap about and killed it with full blown pop songs like Not Afraid and LTWYL.

Then he started trying to push Slaughterhouse, switch up his rap style with a horrible tempo/flow and had nothing to say. He tried very hard to get attention and become relevant again by creating a sequel to his greatest album and bleach his hair blonde again. Unfortunately it was trash and he just came across as a man in his 40's trying to be 'hip' again.

he's far from irrelevant. i think you could make an argument that he's irrelevant to hip-hop--at least in the sense that people don't take stylistic cues from him--but that's actually always been the case. there was never a time when eminem imitators flooded radio.
