I definitely believe in God and intelligent design, Ironically working with science stuff has strengthened and enforced that.

I have a LOT of gratitude. My life has been tremendously blessed and my sobriety and survival are absolutely miracles.

Religious, No. But do I believe we are the only intelligent being created? Definitely not. Not a chance.

I also believe this Earth has had many resets with different type beings. @albumdrill and @Minato have been here for centuries...

No srsly I believe what I posted just I don't think Christianity even though my mother had me a Christian but never religious is real. The bible is based on stories told from different older transcripts. For example... Noah and the flood. It was actually or apparently based on the story of Gilgamesh (I think correct spelling) and the Sumerian Tablets. Only issue with them is is that they contradict each other the further you delve into it. So many tablets so it's a treasure trove of research. Do I believe them all, No. But how am I to know what's really true and what isn't. For someone else, they might be the greatest thing ever. Which is what all religions and beliefs are like. The bible though is like I said borrowed tales, stories and some made up ones.

No, I am not religious. I’ve tried several times to get into religion, and I just can’t. I believe in God, but I don’t like putting my beliefs into the restrictive box that religion provides. I think that religion was mainly designed to control people.

Pretty sure my country is at war with Iran ultimately over Judeo/biblical prophecies. Does that mean I believe the stories of the bible are literally true? No, but that's the wrong question. Ideas are real in that they can and do have large scale, real world consequences. In that sense I'm a big "believer" in religion.

That’s partially what I mean when I say religion was designed to control people. Think about how many useless and avoidable wars have happened because of religion. Although I guess you could argue if it wasn’t for religion, those people would just find something else to fight over.

I just hate the hypocrisy. s--- feels like a cult. I grew up in the church. No joke. I once said I’m a Rap God, PREACHER PREACHER, I WORSHIPPED SNOOP DOG AND GOT A KNEE-JERK. Aw, guess it was blasphemous. Like Tyler the creator when he thought D12 was Hot, or When Coulson got shot after Rap Devil flopped.

Religion is fake as f---. It made up to give people something to have faith in so they don’t feel like thier lives are pointless.

Or how many useful/good wars, depending on the war in question and whom you ask. The American Civil War was a religious conflict that led to the abolition of slavery.

It's an easy thing to say, but the only people who can complain about religion "controlling" people without being hypocrites are dyed-in-the-wool libertarians or anarchists. When it comes down to it that's almost nobody.

That’s true. I’m okay with being a hypocrite on this issue though. Being a hypocrite is pretty much inevitable. I used to play the game of always trying to be consistent until I realized it was pointless.

    Definitely not

Religion causes more problems in the world than anything else, besides social media.

Its wild to me that people obsess and believe in some bs written thousands of years ago.

Its wild watching religious people use their religion to justify actions or use religion to undermine their own accomplishments. God did this, god did that! No you did that on your own, your hard work paid off and you accomplished it.

I know this will get @Zooberdee hard, but listening to my ex use God as an reason things happened seemed more delusional than a They/Them or a cross dresser believing theyre the opposite sex.

I dunno the whole concept of it is absolutely mental to me, just a huge delusional imaginary buncha bs.
