    D12 owe Eminem more than something if we are being honest. They can perform and being recognize in Russia today only because he gave them lot of exposure with those 2 albums and putting D12 songs in MMLP, TES and even Encore.

    WHY THE f--- did Em pick Porter... out of the REST of D12... to be his f---ing hype man?

    Kuniva or Swift would be so much better as a hype man than porter.

    h---, f---ing Bizarre could probably be a better hype man

    I don't think it was ever handed off to anybody else

    When Kanye was isolated in Hawaii, he made doing that beat justice his life goal. That was a topic of a good portion of the MBDTF era interviews

    Besides, I can't find a source anywhere saying they passed on it. I can only find the story about in da club

    Actually besides Proof i don't think they were very close friends. From what i've read, Proof and Em were long time friends but the group got together not that long before Em rised to fame. If anything, Proof deserved the shared success for being Em's long time friend and supporter, but he owes nothing to the rest.
