Jul 11, 2015 Yeah he basically needs to stop writing to songs that already have a beat + hook in it with a random chick, the type of songs where you could technically insert any rapper on it and it'll somewhat work.
Jul 12, 2015 of course the hook was pre-written when Gwen got it. it's not even a sure thing (in fact I think it's pretty unlikely) that she got a version with the verses. she heard the beat with the hook on it and went in to do her take. it's not like Eminem rapped on the beat and sent it to her, and she was like, okay I have X number of seconds in between verses, let me write something really quick that will fit in that exact amount of time and then hope that he likes it. she sang what she was sent and the chances are good that the original hook came well before Eminem wrote a single line of the song. this is another one of the generic cookie cutter songs he's been making lately, and that's why people will eventually realize it isn't that good after some time has gone by, just like the others

Jul 12, 2015 I really dont see how this is a good song, at all. The beat is generic, the concept is played out, Em is absolutely all over the place, Stefani's is just ok. Guts over Fear is pretty much the only time this 'inspirational anthem' s--- worked.
Jul 12, 2015 This. Song is just as bad as anything he's been releasing lately. I tried listening to it and find out why so many people on here thinks it's so good. I couldn't for the life of me. Same generic Eminem we've been hearing with a s-----y flow and a pop singer on the hook.
