snippet sounds crazy too, so hyped for this I haven’t felt excited about a rap album in a minute it feels like. Think the last one was that new Chance album?jankland, andy.cooper, DiggleDogg69 and 2 others like this. -

Might be the most flagrantly disrespectful chorus I’ve ever heard. This is how he’s dealing with two rap legends?!andy.cooper, lowkitz, CSW and 1 other person like this. -

‘House Money’ hook is a not very subtle subliminal response to Wayne’s recent pattern of throwing shade at Kendrick (and to Nicki for chiming in with her army of bots):

Keem’s lyrics are more ambiguous — can’t fully decipher who he’s referring to. I don’t think he’s talking about either Wayne or Drake. If someone has more insight, please chime in.Last edited: Feb 23, 2026Weswesyall, McNulty, lowkitz and 1 other person like this. - https://www.buzzfeednews.com/articl...aj-jay-z-lil-wayne-super-bowl-drama-explained

The timing is crazy. A Baby Keem song popped in my head randomly yesterday and was stuck there after I had not listened to him in forever. Trademark USA. Definitely one of my favorite rappersjankland, Ordinary Joel, lowkitz and 1 other person like this. -

Hip-hop would be in a better place if artists were willing to bear it all with a sense of musicality, like Keem did on this album. Cheers to Keem, and here’s looking to all my favorites who make impersonal (or no) music these days. Eminem, Jay-Z, and Cole are guilty of this. h---, I’ll even throw Drake into this mix. I fell in love with the vulnerability of Take Care, and pretty quickly fell out of love with all the braggadocio music that followed.
Just because you’ve grown doesn’t mean you’ve stopped having real life feelings and introspection. Enough with the cookie cutter songs and displays of technical wizardry! Making an album like this takes real courage.
What happened to the rap music that used to make us feel something?Last edited: Feb 20, 2026lowkitz, jankland and Ripper Roo like this. -

I respect the more personal tracks on this album, it made me realize Baby Keem and I are actually a lot alike. It’s interesting how he actually foreshadowed these more personal songs back on The Melodic Blue with lyrics in songs like “scapegoats”:
“One day, I'll tell you how my life was unfortunate
For now, I'll tell you how fast these Porsches get”
“b------s is my scapegoat, who I made this tape for?
I tell the story two years later, for now, the case closed”
I was waiting for him to follow through on these lines, so glad he did.CavalierTD, lowkitz and jankland like this. -

I woke up this morning, and just felt the world was different now. I looked down at my hands and realized that I too am different now. I got out of bed and drank my coffee, looked out my window, I saw people walking their dogs, children playing in the street, and I thought to myself about how they don’t know how the world has changed. This is a post new Baby Keem album world now, and I am one of the enlightened few who listened on release, and soon, as the day goes, the weeks pass, they will all be enlightened too. Nothing will be the same ever again.DiggleDogg69, Ripper Roo and jankland like this.
