Thought it as a 7.5 or even almost an 8 with bonus tracks....but it was forgotten within weeks and if I revisit it now it wouldn't be above a 7 (and that's generous) This song gives me hope tho. So much more replayable than every Em track since groundhogs day and baby

Jul 2, 2015 true. american gangster is probably 8.5 (classic) and life is good an 8, but em can do that if he's focused. I honestly believe he's already made an 8/10 album, but it'll never see the light of day because Paul picks the tracklist (i.e. survival, the monster, etc)

Jul 2, 2015 See I never had it rated that high and probably wouldn't even rate it a 7, but he had some good moments. KND definitely gives us hope, but like I said, we need to hear the BME tracks and find out exactly when this was recorded to truly see if he's making progress. Southpaw was announced in 2011 I believe, so this could easily have been recorded 1-3 years ago.
