Jul 17, 2025 I remember there was a time when Michael Jackson was constantly releasing greatest hits compilation albums, with pretty much the same songs in different order (probably just Sony's and Tommy Mottola's decisions though as I don't think he wanted that). I hope Em won't start doing that. He literally put out Curtain Call 2 just 3 years ago. If he's gonna retire, do it gracefully. One more album, then announce the retirement and that's it. Put out the next greatest hits album in like 10 years.

Jul 17, 2025 Anniversary editions with s-----y "bonus" s--- are pretty close to that though I don't think they've had a pronounced negative impact on his legacy, most people don't give a s--- I'll never get over the 2nd greatest hits album being called "Curtain Call 2" btw, s--- had NOTHING to do with the theme of recent previous albums or anything after CC1 for that matter
