    It's not because it's new. It's because it's trash. If he did actually release a great song, people would admit it's great and won't hate or take away the props it deserves just because it's new.

    That's fair enough but people are saying it's good so does that mean after the next Eminem album people will say the MMLP2 was good because his new album was worse?

    As soon as you say "I don't like X rapper" nobody usually gives a s---. But if you say "I hate Eminem" 100 stans unite, form Voltron and tell you you're wrong, a hater and a closet Eminem fan and that any distaste you have towards him is objectively wrong.

    No, when new Eminem music is about to drop I do not sit there refreshing the page. I don't do that for any artist.

    Eminem since his od & rehab is pretty much a different person. Drugs helped him be more social,take risks & make better music. Since 09 he has been a recluse & is incredibly safe with his music the complete opposite of old Eminem. Recovery was his only decent album.Of course he is older now too & u change a bit but he is like the complete opposite of what he was. He made Not Afraid a pity he won't take his own advice

    to an extent, yeah it's a trend.

    there are a few people here who's opinions drastically changed within a few months after they noticed a majority of people disliked Em's current music output.

    I think what brings on the extra hate is the fact that when compared to his older material, yeah there's a huge difference. If he hadn't put out those first three albums, I don't think he'd be hated as much now. He'd just be seen as another rapper that people either like or don't like. But because he did put those albums out, he's put up on a pedestal and expected to make music as good as those first three.

    while I do think there are problems with his new music, I don't think it deserves nearly as much hate as it gets. Flat out calling his music "trash" is bs. It's not trash. It's not amazing or groundbreaking or anything and it's not comparable to his early work, but it's also not trash. the best way to describe his music right now is average. He's doing the same routine with almost every song right now, thus putting out average music.

    but whatever. people can think what they want. this is just my opinion on it.

    People thought Recovery was okay to good to great from the start.

    They're just okay with saying it's great compared to relapse or mmlp2 or shady xv etc

    Mmlp2 was average to good, so if his next projects are horrible I'm sure that'll make people more found of mmlp2 as well

    I personally don't spend so much time thinking about a bad a artist

    I know the first part wasnt directed at me but i suppose you could call me a "stan" even tho its cringey as f--- but i never try and say he has good music i just enjoy his bad music. And for the 2nd part whenever Em has new music coming the forum f---ing blows up and then after it drops everyone in the thread just complains about how s--- he has become its been like that since the forum opened and will probably stay like that until he fixes his f---ing flow

    Fair point but don't understand how people can hate on something then like it a few years later because his next album isn't as good if you don't like a album you don't like it regardless of what comes next

    An example, when EM did his verse on Forever, did people hate on it because it was the new Em? No, they said it was fire and that he murdured it, because he did. The s--- he releases these days like that horrible sounding snippet isn't hated because it's the new Em. It's because it isn't enjoyable to listen to. His flow is atrocious.
