    What is there to argue? Drake is a way more diverse artist and keeps breaking record after record, meanwhile Kendrick still struggling to go gold the first week. Not to mention he's soft.

    Quality > Quantity freind. Now IYARTITL was a good mixtape, i'm not gonna lie. but when we're talking about being artistic, or the best artist Kendrick takes the cake. If Drake singing some R&B and rapping over unique beats he had no imput into counts for "artistic", count me in. TPAB was not only was adored by critics, some people ended up disliking it because it was "too artistic". Drizzy may be running the game, but he knows not the mess with Kendrick, even if his pride won't admit it.

    Oh wow. Album sales :kanye: cuz that really makes him a better artist right?

    Anyway, all drake does is make b-----r/catchy music that appeals to the lowest common dominator (the majority of casual music listeners) and thats why he generates more sales. All he raps about is money and women (even he admits it). There is no thought whatsoever put into his music, he talks about nothing. Kendrick talks about things that are relevant, and also things that many can relate to. He does this all while creating a coherent theme with TPAB and tying it all together in a way that drake could never even have thought of.

    Kendrick makes music that people will still be dissecting and thinking about years later. Drake makes music that you listen to and forget about the next day.

    Drake obviously beats Kendrick in sales, because you have to think the majority of the time with Kendrick. People don't like doing that with such short attention spans. They'd rather get shitfaced and scream "I WAS RUNNING THROUGH THE 6 WITH MY WOES" off the top of their lungs.
