Feb 7, 2025 I don’t mind Taylor Swift but I feel like the industry has been so oversaturated with her music… because of this her songs have been sounding like template pop/folk tunes.
Feb 7, 2025 Have you listened to any of Charli's other work? She's been goated in the pop space for a while
Feb 7, 2025 I kinda realized how different my music habits are from what they used to be when I made my playlist, I used to exclusively listen to Rock (still my musical love) but now I'm struggling to hit entire genres that I adore in a 16 song playlist it's cool to see
Feb 7, 2025 All good. If I see Atmosphere I’ll have no choice but to rate it 0. +1 bonus points if the whole thing is Atmosphere songs though.
Feb 8, 2025 Started making my mixtape and the challenge of making it flow nicely is definitely fun. Temped to add some weird/shorter songs that will act as interludes but don’t want to waste actual song space tho.
Feb 8, 2025 Don’t worry man the same will be the case for me lmao, at this point I’m just trying to make the transitions not obnoxious.
Feb 8, 2025 @AOTWClub Everyone’s Favorite MIXTAPE Review This mixtape is basically a compilation of artists I don't like. At first I thought the Taylor Swift track might be one of the songs I'd actually enjoy but it ended up being the complete opposite of what I was expecting. As far as the artists i've never heard before like Yeat and KA$HDAMI. I pretty much anticipated what their music would sound like going in. To be fair, the songs weren’t outright terrible but I wasn't feeling them. The Kanye track made me realize just how far he's fallen off and made me want to revisit MBDTF, Graduation and 808 to remind myself of when he actually made great music. Surprisingly, the Travis Scott song ended up being one of the most enjoyable on the mixtape, along with the obvious Eminem track. If I had a track by track rating system 2/16 songs would’ve scored below a 1.5/10 but overall I wll give this one a 5/10 Sorry
Feb 8, 2025 I’ll probably post my mixtape at midnight since it’s been ready for a while. No matter what scores it gets I’m pretty proud of it because all the songs flow together almost perfectly in my head and are sequenced in a way that really give me a dopamine rush. I think a lot of these songs make sense together thematically as well. I think some people will see what I mean.
