    Dua Lipa has been teasing a new album for weeks now on Instagram after archiving all of her posts, changing her profile picture, and posting snippets of a new song that quickly got deleted. Now the first single “Houdini” has been announced.

    Are you hyped? Dua Lipa’s last album was one of the best albums of that year. @Michael Myers @Marsh @jankland

    She’s definitely the best newer conventional pop girl right now. The other pop girls make ballads and punk pop right now

    Yeah I don’t listen to it at all anymore. The album is still decent, but it’s disappointing. Whereas Future Nostalgia was iconic and one of the best pop albums that year, this album is mostly just an average pop album that is easily beaten by other pop albums this year like Charli xcx’s brat.

    h--- yeah. Training Season makes me feel like I’m floating during those buildups. I have no doubt this is gonna be one of the best albums of the year. I wonder if another single will come out before the album.

    “Break My Heart” and “Future Nostalgia” were highlights for sure. This is only Dua’s third album so it’s kind of hard to predict what the quality level will be. Her first album was mostly mediocre with a few good songs, but she has improved a lot since then and knocked it out of the park with her Future Nostalgia album. She also went from not being able to dance at all to doing choreographed performances. Dua is definitely putting in a lot of effort. Here’s hoping she continues the upward trajectory.

    I've only listened to a handful of her songs more than once but so far my favorites are Break My Heart and Future Nostalgia. If the new album has at least one song on their level I'll officially be a fan.
