First song was great, rly good way to start off the album. It felt like the songs afterwards didnt hold the same standard tho, there were some good stuffs like the rick ross track. However it reached new heights on feel no pain and all the way to the end. Great album, its pretty much always certain that he will deliver a dope project

There's like 3 or 4 songs in this that should be throw aways and f--- up the flow of the album. It's a shame because there's some of his best verses in this. This would have been another classic with a bit of culling.

What would you say is filler? The Offset joint? I was kinda thinking Space Rabbit was a bit mid

The section from pain and strife to space rabbit was a bit of a low point for me. Offset feature was so phoned in and clearly a move to run stream numbers up. I liked the song with moneybagg yo as a single but not in the context of the album. Was also disappointed with the Ross feature. He doesn't have a bad verse but it's like they are rapping to 2 different songs, making the song sound disjointed.

One thing I don't like on this album, or any other album for that matter, is skits.

    Glad you enjoyed it somewhat.

What's everyone's thoughts on the skits? Do they help or hinder the album?

I can't stand then tbh, they just f--- up the whole flow of the album.

I skipped over the skits. I feel some skits on certain albums enhance the experience. On this album, the skits felt pointless to me so I guess the skits hinder the experience a bit for me. There are other albums where the skits can completely ruin the experience but that’s not the case for me here… just a minor annoyance

Skits are generally an annoyance for me so I could do without them. They're alright on first listen but I'll usually skip them after that.

As for the album, very solid output. Deserved a lot more attention than it got.

    tentatively I'd put it 6th
    Piñata
    Shadow of a Doubt
    Alfredo
    Bandana
    Midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik
    SSS

I need to revisit some of his older s--- like Miseducation, Straight Killa No Filla, Babyface Killa, etc to make a full list

It's not just the skits. The whole album just doesn't flow properly. Needs to link up with Alc or madlib again.

I don’t hate that list. I’d throw Freddie in there too. Very underrated album. But yeah, sometimes I forget how good Shadow of a Doubt was. Following Piñata ain’t easy.
