Living cost got so high here that financial issues occur frequently. Thankfully due to BIGFOOTS condition and large feet, he needs a larger heart to beat the blood through them. (Another side effect of large feet is a huge c--- which I'm sure is a massive inconvenience.) Anyways he bought artwork off me and I used the $ to pay for my sons medication. Thanks @BIGFOOT

I’m not going to lie, but you’re dead right…. Having a horse c--- isn’t as appealing as it might seem! The cost to keep it’s veins pumping has increased tenfold since Covid.

If only I could give 6 inches away. Life would be so much easier.

Gas prices have declined here in the U.S. but inflation remains pretty high for essentially everything else. Inflation has been such a huge topic in current U.S. political discourse (& who to blame for it), this thread is a good illustration of how it’s currently a global issue.

I dunno how it is in the rest of the world, but in my country a lot of people are getting in trouble financially.

Groceries are waay more expensive, gas and electricity is like 3 to 4 times more expensive for some. People that already had trouble with their financials are f----- this winter. Very sad to see.

Personally, s--- is getting more expensive for me too but I can manage so far.

Curious how it is in the rest of the world.

I was in a tough spot in early 2020 and was also broke as s--- for a minute earlier this year, but I found a bunch of new projects/clients so I'm in a decent position now. Just took a vacation so now I'm working on building some savings back up.

Barely making it, tbh if I didn’t have a credit card I wouldn’t make it. Luckily it’s only helped my credit score but still

I'm going to be in Phoenix in December.

It's not all bad big corporations profits are way up... record breaking even... and a handful of billionaires went from being barely worth $10B to having over $100B a piece.

It's called a transfer of wealth and class warfare.

Just remortgaged so will be ok for the winter. Even getting a new bathroom and kitchen with it, is wiping out most of the money I’m getting from the bank. Crazy how everything is just so expensive now, not a sustainable way of living

Austria is giving every citizen 500 euros but energy prices have doubled and prices for basic necessities like food have risen as well. I'm good for now because I was saving up big time but I gotta make some bands soon

We're still out here grinding and making it, but the homeless rate in Phoenix is increasing like crazy.

From what I've read, it seems like quite a bit of the current homeless population are experiencing their first time being homeless - which I'm sure could be tied back to rent increases and general inflation.

Sounds like I'm the luckiest person in the world right now. My rent and utility bills are part of my employment package so for me the only major concern is the increase in cost of food. I'm trying to combat that by focusing on my diet and eating better. Doesn't mean I won't do my bit in being careful with energy usage - we will limit it where we can. Hard with 2 young children though.

I mostly cycle to work so travel is less of an issue as well. I get the tube maybe twice a week but so far prices haven't gone up for that.

I've been managing, but I'm not as comfortable as I used to be. I'm glad gas in Texas went down from around $5/Gallon to $3/gallon.
