    He also said he would retire at 35. And, in all fairness, sometimes artists need a break. But Wayne has a passion for making music and a consistent work ethic; I don't see him just vacationing on beaches and never making any songs for the rest of his life.

    I personally thought it was a good album. But yea, the court of public opinion agrees its too long and has tracks from too many eras. It probably would've gotten twice as many streams if it came out 2 years earlier.

    There's usually a higher standard for his Carter albums than his other ones. And he's gotten better lyrically in the past few years compared to where he was at in ~2013.

    I'm going to set realistic expectations. I'm not expecting a classic, but it has reason to be a good album.
