Ever since I turned 20 a few years ago I’ve felt like I’m old, but I think that’s just a Gen Z thing… being scared of getting old and calling ages old that aren’t really old at all. Like some of us really think that once you’re not a teenager anymore you’re old. And then “old” is looked at as a negative thing instead of a good thing, which is also kinda f----- up when you think about it.

I still feel like I’m 14 like I was in 2017 when revival dropped. So yeah most of the time I feel young but now that I’m 18 I can feel older in some situations

In terms of spirit & youthfulness, do you feel like you're much younger than your actual age? Do you feel like you still got much of youth energy within you and a life to live ahead etc

My question has nothing to do with how mature or immature one is.

I'm 25 years old (or young), but man I do not even feel like I'm 25, I don't even know how I'm 25 tbh. I still feel like a kid in so many ways. I still feel like I'm in my early 20s. I guess my spirit is that young still and probably "forever young"

Yeah I always had this feeling. I am 29, but it feels like my 20’s went by in a blink of an eye. Like I still get shocked when I talk about things from 2007. Like how was that 16 years ago?! It’s kinda a weird feeling.

We often make a big deal out of age but you aren't really THAT old until you are 60.. 20 is young as f---.

As a kid I used to think 60 you were in a nursing home in a diaper. But Trump is probably still banging whores at 75.

What makes people today feel old is comparing themselves with prior generations. Your grand parents had their whole life mapped out at 20. By 25 they had their career together, were married, had 2 kids and a house. So young people feel pressure to check out certain boxes and hit milestones at a certain age.

Landscape now is just too different for someone to have all of their s--- together by the time they are 25. And the average life expectancy is older now than it used to be.
