Apr 17, 2015 I honestly thought Man of Steel was pretty decent. I liked it from a purely aesthetic pov. Bought it for 10 dollars on blu ray.
Apr 17, 2015 Oh yeah, the film looked really nice, but the writing was flat out awful. Just a terrible screenplay.
Apr 17, 2015 weool of course i dabble in it, mostly deadpool...well ii would say 50% deadpool, well 90%...98%....100%.......
Apr 17, 2015 Lol I know some of yall might read them but I'm kinda struggling with where to start story wise. I'm currentry looking at batman year one. Hush, the court of owls and the dark knight returns. And the long halloween..any advice?
Apr 17, 2015 If you're looking for prime, smarter than you, one step ahead of you at all times Batman, then I recommend you read Grant Morrison's JLA Rock of Ages. One of the best incarnations of Batman ever. Also I saw you mentioned Court of Owls. I think Snyder is doing a fantastic job with Batman today, and Capullo's art is impeccable.
Apr 17, 2015 I was like that when I started reading, I had no idea where to start and was overwhelmed with the amount of writers and continuities and 75 f---ing years of stories. I think it's pretty obvious to start out with the culturally significant arcs and sort of branch out from there, but once you get into it you'll realize that chronological order doesn't really matter. Most story arcs are self-contained, with little interaction shared between others. This is the recommended reading list from Reddit which sorted in a rough chronological order. Now, you might not enjoy some of these, but they're generally considered to be essential reading. Again, overwhelming, but you don't need to read them chronologically. Just get some brief knowledge of the characters featured in your arc and you should be good to go. Batman: Year One Batman: The Man Who Laughs Batman: The Long Halloween Batman: Dark Victory Batman: The Killing Joke Batman: A Death in the Family Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth Batman: Knightfall Batman: No Man's Land Batman: Hush Batman: Under the Hood Batman R.I.P. Batman: Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader Batman: Battle for the Cowl Batman: The Black Mirror Batman Vol. 1: The Court of Owls Batman Vol. 2: The City of Owls Batman: Night of the Owls Batman Vol. 3: Death of the Family Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Apr 17, 2015 I had zero anticipation for this movie..with that being said it looks like it's going to be pretty dark and intense..looking forward to it
