    This place is going to be busy tonight with the Eminem/Nas collab but while we're here let's discuss the Weekend's new single "Take My Breath" from upcoming album. It's releases at midnight Eastern time tonight. I'll post any and all news here as it comes out and update the thread and title accordingly

    I've been a Weeknd fan since 2011 and this s--- sounds CRAZY.

    Well you shouldn’t be thinking Encore would be as good as The Elder Scrolls. Those games are great

    The transitions are dope. Production stands out. Good a--- album. Of course it has bangers. It’ll chart well all year.

    He has mastered the 80s electro pop sound.

    I hope next project he moves on from this sound...

    The initial teaser was titled “The Dawn Is Coming,” and it serves as the introduction to his next album cycle post–After Hours. “f--- it … IT STARTS TONIGHT,” he teased before the song’s release. The Weeknd said the new record is “the album [he’s] always wanted to make” in a new interview with Mark Anthony Green in GQ. Green describes the album as “Quincy Jones meets Giorgio Moroder meets the best-night-of-your-f---ing-life party records.”

    I love this song it’s sooo good but my fave s--- is the house of balloons that album takes me to a place I feel like I know, but have never been. The instrumentals are unreal plus his vocals and the s--- they do to them with compression etc, it’s gold.
