I cannot stress enough how much I think about this. My number one goal in life is to go on a round-the-world cruise.
99-120 days of chasing the sun and seeing some of the greatest parts of the world. Traditionally leaves UK waters early January and heads West. Caribbean/America mid-late Jan. New Zealand/Australia around Feb. Asia/Japan late Feb/March and Middle East/Europe mid March.
This is my retirement plan. Or lottery win plan. Whichever comes first. Cost is around about £30k per person for a decent cabin plus spending money probably another £20-30k so around £100k all in.
I'm saving as much money as physically possible right now so that I can look forward to a semi-luxurious life when I'm 60+. But this will take a good chunk of that cash.

I’ve been on many road trips and been to every US state except for Alaska. I haven’t ever spent significant time in the Carolinas, Kansas, or Delaware however and am looking to change that. The rest I’ve spent at least one day and/or night in.
Went to England and France when I was too young and too dumb to appreciate it. I’m not rly interested in those countries tho honestly.
Went to Costa Rica on a school trip in 9th grade for the most Seattle hippie s--- ever: to help construct some sort of generator/reactor so a free-trade coffee farm could run on biodiesel lol
Took my quarter life crisis Mexico trip a few years ago as some of you may remember lol. Spent most of my time in Mexico City and all over the Yucatán/Quintana Roo. Would love to go back again because there’s still so much to see! I never felt like Mexico was a big country simply because my brain always compared it to US and Canada on a map but it really is huge.pluto✰, Ordinary Joel, Sign Language and 2 others like this. -

Split this into a new thread. What's your dream international trips or trips you've already taken that you loved?

Chicago was cool. Went there on a work trip. It was my Birthday and the Blackhawks were playing in a playoff game so I was happy as h---! I'd go back just for nostalgia.Last edited: Jul 24, 2021DKC, lil uzi vert stan, Ordinary Joel and 1 other person like this. -

My number one is prob a South American tour: I have a friend from college who lives in Colombia so that would be a good place to start, then I'd wanna go west and south thru Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, etc.
Also:
Portugal/Spain/Morocco as I mentioned
SE Asia/Oceania/Australia/NZ
E/SE Europe (Greece/Croatia/Hungary/Poland/Romania/Czechia/etc) + Turkey

A guided North Korea tour would be interesting but probably just too depressing. Oddly the relations between Austria and NK are pretty good. We even have an embassy in Vienna that celebrates all those weird Kim Jong family holidays. Don't know if you can crash the party thoughOrdinary Joel, Sign Language, lil uzi vert stan and 1 other person like this. -
