    Royce diss was very mid. He just stuck to trying to impress people with his rapping skills and tip toe'd around it instead of actually attacking Lupe.

    Lupe took direct shots that actually hit.

    I can easily name 50 better rappers from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho than Royce.

    There is not 100 clear cut better-skilled rappers than Royce, if we were talking about discographies then of course his bodies of work are usually awful but as an MC he’s definitely certified, it shocks me that this is even up for debate.

    People like to discredit Royce a lot as a Emcee and it blows my mind. The dude is a lyrical genius. He has bodied Em on ALOT of songs. Including the whole BME project. BUT 99% of the time his skills as a lyrical emcee doesn’t amount to many great songs. He may not make the best music but don’t discredit him as a technician in hiphop because that shows your lack of knowledge and love for the craft.

    Yes we lack knowledge of rap bc we think he absolutely sucks. Technical ability doesn’t mean anything when it’s aimless. And he’s worse than Em.

    if both rappers were still relevant and it wasn't actually a beef between royce da 5'9" and lupe fiasco in 2021 of all things, lupe's diss would be career ending. sad neither of them really has a career atm though lol
