Apr 13, 2021Man I love hearing stories about leaks and lost tracks. One day those vaults will be opened. I know it's morbid, but if I had a career like Eminem had, I'd want to do the 'lost tapes' thing myself some time, and not leave it to weird posthumous releases. He could release cassettes of whatever. Can't argue if he's more focused on present and future material. Maybe when he's done putting out new material.

Okay here's what I can remember:
Our House was the Limp Bizkit collab, I believe. I had it on a tape but that is long gone. b---- So Wrong was the Kim demo. Virtually the same track just not mixed. The original demos from 2001 were forgot about dre which was the same version and what's the difference with hitman instead of Xzibit, and without that weird female vocal "talking like they used to be" in Dre's verse because it said "fools talking like they ruthless," and Dre didn't want it to seem like a diss to MC Ren, if I remember correctly.
Also, the original version of My Name is starts out the second verse with "my English teacher wanted to have sex in junior high, the only problem was my English teacher was a guy." The original artist Em sampled was gay and did not like that lyric which is why they changed it in the final version.
There was also the demo Em did for Missy's album that never came out. I remember putting that on the backpack thugs cassette mixtape with dj five and calling it "Tylenol Island." I think the actual title was "play that funky music white boy" or something.
I remember Paul Rosenberg telling me that they were going to do a female version of "f--- You" some of the female rappers that were on 2001 but I don't think that ever materialized.
There is one other track that did not make the Marshall Mathers LP that I heard at Paul's house that had Eminem saying something like "Bobby Ricky Ronnie and Mike", where he was interpolating Bell Biv DeVoe and talking about these four kids going to a party and something bad happening, I don't remember.
There is also the track "when h--- freezes over" which I believe was supposed to go on The slim shady LP and that did not happen I believe because he dissed insane clown posse on the song. I have seen that song on YouTube.
There is the demo for Royce 5'9 "snatchies" which is produced by j dilla. I think that got eventually released on a limited digital release of Rock City called Rock City 3.0.
And then there is this:Z Gangsta, kodo, Guma and 1 other person like this. -
