Mar 21, 2015Just a guess here but, when you die, your consciousness doesn't. It's there forever, and it's like being in a lucid dream. Your consciousness can't be destroyed, just like Energy.
EDIT: FAIL, didn't read OP

Look at this way Brennan. Even though you're a Crosby hater, this universe we live in won't even exist. h---, this planet is going to turn to ashes when the sun explodes within 5 billion years. f--- that s---. Keep the income until you find another job even if it pays less but rememberer even the universe that you see everyday won't be here in the future someday. So just chill out, root for Crosby and watch the parallel universe we live in eventually collide. -

I'd evaluate a lot of things before making a heavy decision but I always think that this world is meant to be enjoyed as much as possible before our time is up. Working hard is a daunting & draining task and I believe that's something we can all agree with. Living a life with regrets is the last thing we'd want to do and being success-driven shouldn't be the ends to justify the means so I would encourage you and anyone else that's at a similar crossroads to think about finding something that gives you a bigger sense of meaning & purpose and most importantly a happier life.
