when i was a j. cole stan i used to shave the middle of my eyebrows so i can grow a unibrow like him. Now years later, this album solidified my standom for Kendrick and today marks the beginning of not cutting my hair until i have cheese doodle braids like Mr. Duckworth himself.

Give it a few weeks lads cmon, no need to bust several nuts on an album thats been out under 24 hours. Just remember how hyped everyone gets after an albums initial release, lets not forgot the whole mmlp2 vs illmatic debacle on sl, granted Kendrick is ten times the artist eminem is these days and is yet to let us down but can we just let this s--- sink in for a few days before we say its a classic and album of the year/decade.

Dont get me wrong though this s--- is f---ing redicously good on first listen, Hood poitics is the stand out track to me thus far although im doing other stuff while listening so ill report back in a few days after a proper listen.

I was let down by this album. I don't really like its style but maybe it will grow on me.
After first listen GKMC>S.80>TPAB and no way it's the AOTY.

Yeah but you always overrate albums from artists you love right away. Plus it's still a pointless discussion cuz you don't know what else to compare it to for this year since it's well..March. You can't predict albums that don't exist yet.

But I'll stop being a buzzkill and get outta here.
