Duck is one of my favorites, def underrated. I think people are hesitant to try it because it's not a normal slaughter animal, but it's one of the most delicious meats out there.

Most of what I cook is latin american, caribbean, or asian-inspired food (though I do love a burger too for something easy).

Teriyaki, jerk chicken with plantains, chorizo breakfast tacos, al pastor, phad thai are among the things I most often cook. Or just a big batch of mystery fried rice using all the bits of vegetables that are about to go bad.

That was when I worked at a five star seafood place in a tourist town. It was fun but super stressful when half the battle is plating.
After that I got a more lowkey gig at a country club where I made more stuff like my BFB burger and only had to be classy for big events.

Oh and jambalaya is one of my go-tos but I haven't made that in a minute. I wanna get into cooking more Mediterranean food. I've tried my hand at greek and moroccan food a few times but I need more practice.

Tzatziki is nightmare fuel. I did a gyro special once, and it's something that is easy to make passable, but super hard to make perfect - and the gyro lives or dies on it.
Kebabs are fun and easy. I love making Spanakopita, as well. Always wanted to make my own Yemista but never got around to it either.

tasty asf! I'm big into the "slightly off kilter" meats - things that are pretty common to eat worldwide but not as common in american cuisine.

Totally agree! I always wonder why lamb never really took off in America. Seems like the healthier alternative to beef and pork that people always talk about wanting. Gator is pretty good too.

    Chicken w rice

Mostly w fresh ingredients; mushrooms, vegetables, sauce, chicken of course. Love to make it and obviously to eat it. Also love to experiment w it , like trying different ingredients every time.

Trying new things is a thing in general though. When I have time
