    for me honestly i just write/think of things i would like to read.

    then obviously consider the news cycle, the outlet, standard stuff like that. but if something interests me or im intrigued about that i havent read elsewhere, thats where i begin in terms of pitch. "what would i want to read rn"

    I always struggle in the idea department lol been reading more to help with that.

    And trying to network with new editors this year. Going for Complex and Paper. Fingers crossed
