I'll get it immediately. I want to see my parents. And tbh I'm too strong for a vaccine to actually hurt me.

The Biden Administration should tie a $1500 stimulus check to getting the vaccine.

It would definitely wipe out the virus and provide financial relief... plus, Anti-Vaxxers would feel extra stupid when they didn't get $1500 but do get COVID19.

I'll take it coz I fall into the immunocompromised groupings due to my restrictive lungs and overall health.

I can definitely understand the skepticism but would rather err on the side of caution and get it instead of chancing it and going without it.

A friend of mine put it simply, all vaccines had to start somewhere. All vaccines had to go through the 'test of time' to ensure their efficacy. Vaccine schedules are constantly being adjusted due to long term results. Tetanus shot lasts for more than 10 years now. New vaccines are now scheduled for kids that weren't available to the older generation when they were young. It's always changing and it has to start somewhere. And facts are, there's a shitload of money from governments and companies being thrown into this research because it's vital and necessary.

I would take it today probably if possible. People with their arms crossed about it (especially when it’s not even an option) should grow up.

Normal people won't be able to get it immediately. It will be healthcare workers and boomers then susceptible and so on. If I was given a choice to take it the first day I wouldn't. I'd give it a few months, but with the initial supply I won't have access to it anytime soon anyway. Also interested to see if the vaccine is good forever or you'll have to repeat every year like the flu

I think it’s important to note that there IS room for nuance in vaccine discussion.

It’s one thing if you think they’re injecting pure autism serum in us and another to be a little skeptical of something made in a year that normally takes 5+ for a disease we still don’t know a lot about (also vs diseases that have been around for much longer). it’s perfectly reasonable and doesn’t make you an anti-vaxxer—just cautious.

    short answer: yes

Long answer: I recently found out I have an IgA deficiency (basically my body sucks at making a certain type of antibody) so I wanna talk to my doctor to make sure it’s a good idea and that it wouldn’t trigger some sort of weird immune/antibody response in my body (I’m not well versed on this type of thing and it’s all new to me so excuse me if that sounds dumb/is wrong lol).

I won’t be getting it immediately due to that reason and also because I’m sure it’ll be in short supply so I’d rather help ensure people who need it most get it first. And obviously, the more data we have on it the more we will understand its effectiveness so I’m also okay with not being a first round guinea pig

Anti-vaxxers should be ridiculed for being idiots. Now if they don't want to take this vaccine I'm not really going to rag on them that much since it is new and not as well tested. But the anti vaxxers who don't give their kids life saving vaccines when they're young, like polio and measles, should be castrated. They don't use facts and spread fake news from twitter posts and memes and more importantly put their kids and immunocompromised people at risk

Without a doubt—yes. People who have medical conditions that the vaccine may interfere with, understandable why you may want to wait/discuss with your doctor first. Everyone else, there’s no reason why you should put it off. It’s important to reiterate that vaccines go through rigorous trials testing. Thousands have already received the vaccine before it being made publicly available.

vaccines are incredibly safe. Every study conducted looking at these vaccines have proven that. Not only that but tens of millions of people have already taken the vaccine in the past 6+ months. If there were any extreme adverse life threatening side effects, we would know by now.
