d--- I havent listened to Lil Ugly Mane is ages. I was blown away the first time I heard Mista Thug Isolation, it was the a huge highlight from the SGP/Raider Klan sound of the time. I must admit I've never digged into the rest of his discog but Imma need to revisit this first.

I’ve never heard of nf and as far as jack Harlow goes; he’s good. I don’t listen to him but what’s poppin in undeniably catchy and he seems respectful of the culture so I can’t hate on him. He’s fine.

Agreed. I’m not going to pretend like starz didn’t have its moments but it’s just from someone seemingly as intelligent and who has been through as much as him, I’d like to hear content that’s not so f---ing surface level

Hey man thanks for both comments, they really made me think. I’m going to do a starz relisten today because the only songs I really enjoyed on first listen were boylife in eu and yayo which happen to actually be some of the best lean songs I’ve ever heard. This made me realize that writing him off as stagnant is both unfair and untrue and the issue isn’t with the artist but me as the listener. He’s just not exactly making the music I personally want to hear right now I think is more accurate.

If you were to tell me 5 years ago that shield g--- would rebrand as drain g--- and bladee would be arguably bigger than lean, I’d call you insane. But here we are

For the second part no I have no interest in those albums at all. And this is what I’m saying: I make a thread about LUM and someone comes in and tries to make it about Eminem again. Seems like people don’t want to listen to what I have to say
