Jan 3, 2021 Even Crooked is saying this is gonna turn into a race thing. Snoop ain’t Joe Budden. There’s gonna be A LOT of people voicing their opinion on this one, and Em def has way more to lose than Snoop here fair or not.
Jan 3, 2021 Em ain't dropping a diss track tho. The only way that could happen is if Snoop dissed him directly, said something personal and we all know that ain't happening. And if it did, then it would be fair game for Em to diss him. So not sure where you're trying to get at.
Jan 3, 2021 Oh I want blood too. But I think it would hurt Em more than it would benefit him. Even if they actually put it on wax and went track for track, and Em destroyed Snoop (like we all think), it could still hurt Em in the long run.
Jan 3, 2021 Snoop is just echoing other bitter ethnocentric blacks in hip hop like Jamar who resent the fact that a white guy made it this far in the genre. "Great white hope" has always been a backhanded compliment.
Jan 3, 2021 Eminem fans need to stop saying s--- like this so often. I’m actually a pretty big Snoop fan and I don’t think it’s because Em is white at all. I think most likely the closeness of Em and Dre is a more likely reason... but also, I think Snoop genuinely isn’t a fan of Em’s music.
Jan 3, 2021 I think Snoop always had a little resentment towards Em. Not necessarily because he's white but because he sees him as who he is. And people treat him like he's some sort of god. I always felt like Ice Cube never really liked Eminem either for the same reasons. Em's success and close relationship with Dre probably plays a part as well.
Jan 3, 2021 MGK was a pretty solid lyricist tho. Snoop couldn't write a diss that good if Eminem himself wrote half the diss track for Snoop.
Jan 3, 2021 Not gonna lie, I liked Rap Devil more than Killshot. While not as lyrical, what he said hit closer to home.
Jan 3, 2021 Everybody always complains that Em only battles 'nobodies'. I think it's time for Em to finally k--- a rapper that dropped a hiphop classic.
Jan 3, 2021 He didnt say anything anyone hasnt already said to Em before lol. He said the same s--- ppl 15 years prior had said. EM responded to everything he said and son'd the f--- outta him. "He knows long as I'm shady, he gonna have to live in my shadow" and "youd s--- a d-ck, just to be me for a second, give your life to be this solidified" I think ppl forget how much what Em said to kelly hit home bc mgk would always live in that shadow and be compared to Em and his career along with the success hes had, bc Eminem is the measuring stick of being a "white rapper" telling him that, and how he had 3 classics by the time he was his age and coulda retired. replying to kelly saying Em is living in luxury and wont let other ppl eat by basically saying "i had enough money in 02 to burn it in front of you" ppl think what MGK said hit hard bc they were shocked someone went at him and let that blind them how em responded to everything while doubling down on the things mgk is so insecure about. Walking around with a shovel in his video "had to get the diddy okay, just so ya can spend ya whole day, shooting ya little video, with ya shovel just to dig ya own grave" I'm always at a loss how anyone says mgk won that.
Jan 3, 2021 That's what I'm saying Ja called Hailie a slut, that one white dude Whitey Ford or whatever his name is said something about shooting Hailie. Mgk had some childish type of insults when he wasn't calling Em a goat. The best part about Rap Devil was that Ronny J beat
Jan 3, 2021 Well if you stopped stanning Em for a second and looked at those lines for what they are you would realize that most of that stuff is generic af. Em's insults are basically about money, how he's more successful, calling MGK a mumble rapper and making fun of his man bun. MGK on the other hand said s--- that i'm pretty sure hit Em at his core. Which is obvious since he responded. MGK said stuff about him acting hard but being the type to hold Rihanna's umbrella, Calling Paul to get him off Shade 45 which is something Em would do, called him out on his constant complaining while he's rich af, him being old and washed up etc.. Everything he said about Em is accurate af if we're being objective. Plus, I never said MGK won the beef. Em obviously won since MGK never responded back. I just said that I personally prefered MGK's diss track and I think it's a better song so piss off lol.
Jan 3, 2021 you really put that Rihanna line in there as hitting em, and having mgk banned from shade45, so it’s em s---, if he don’t want him there then he won’t be there. How is em old and washed up if he’s still rapping better than most, and still selling records? Y’all just be saying anything when it comes to rap devil.
Jan 3, 2021 I think we'd gone through the same arguments ~1000 pages ago. MGK is/was nowhere big enough for Em to know s--- about him. Rap Devil just keeps stretching till you are thoroughly bored. Even if there are good lines in there, they are far overshadowed by corny disses on Em's height, dressing sense, beard and all that crap. Killshot wasn't a diss. It was a reply. Short, sweet, to the point, full of that brilliant arrogance. Great flows and really entertaining. Not Alike was the diss and MGK got nothing on even that. And if Em's holding Riri's umbrella, it's out of friendship and mutual respect. And getting MGK off Shade45, like Em gives the furry crack of a rat's behind about MGK.
