Dec 26, 2020 Well, if Side B has 0 10/10 songs Eminem never ever made 10/10 songs anyway. Now my threshold is not too low. I just rate Stan or any other best Em song 8/10 now, satisfied ?
Dec 26, 2020 I think the fact he only labeled this a deluxe points to the the direction of more music coming on the way.
Dec 26, 2020 He just dropped 2 projects, let him rest and find some inspiration. I can see him dropping a little something in 2021 if things stay f----- up, like a BME EP or something, to stay busy.
Dec 26, 2020 We say that this is POP. But then it turns out that Eminem's main fan base in the 2000s was the pop music fan base. If this is Eminem's roots, then he should go back to his roots, to pop music. Why not? The last couple of years have meant nothing, old fans are still waiting for pop hits.
Dec 26, 2020 I don't understand why you all want that BME so bad, the first one was no good. I'd rather have a new em solo project, even a mixtape
Dec 26, 2020 For sure, just 1 hot single letting people know he's back one week before release, I don't think it affects the quality of the album at all, and it would get more attention for the album.
Dec 26, 2020 I enjoyed the first one, their chemistry is dope, and it's something short we can get between solo albums.
Dec 26, 2020 It's funny how we keep saying stuff like "Em should promote this", "He should fire the whole team and hire new people", etc I was watching old interviews. The dude just wants to rap. Literally, just RAP. He hates promoting.
Dec 26, 2020 I'm not expecting him to drop. We just got 4 albums in 3 years lol. I just think it's odd he would name the brilliant work he just did as only a deluxe knowing the connotation that brings. I think he may have more planned for '21
Dec 26, 2020 We are now in that period of his career when he lies to his own fans. He wanted to "just rapping" on Infinite, which flopped. He wanted to be famous and get paid for his rap, so he chose Dre and Interscope to make money for Hailie so they could eat and stuff. When Em says he "just wanted to be MC," he is lying. He always wanted to be popular and get paid for it, he just got tired of it now, but he still wants money, he just doesn't know how to make his albums top the charts again. There were a lot of rappers in the 90s who just wanted to rapping and these hundreds of rappers didn't sign with the major label Interscope, they just rapping in the basement. Eminem did not choose the path of underground artist in the 90s, he chose the path to become a superstar. This is his way and this is his choice, even if you fans would like him to never do pop tracks.
Dec 26, 2020 It's promoting, and the worst part is that nowadays he can do anything remote, we've seen Jessie perform on Fallon (I think?) remote. He can do interviews, freestyles, cyphers, all from Detroit or even from his studio. Busta even did a whole concert at an empty theater for Youtube.
Dec 26, 2020 Of course he wanted to get paid, since Day 1. He never said he didn't. He wanted to be an MC and get recognition and respect from his peers. He wanted to rap and earn money to be comfortable. He didn't want the crazy fame and he certainly didn't want to go from interview to interview, from show to show, and s--- like that. There's no artist on Earth that love the promo stage of a new album.
Dec 26, 2020 A BME EP could be just 10 songs, he can get with Royce for a month or two and make it happen. If the pandemic keeps kicking our a----s next year I mean, which seems to happen.
