    I know we had a beer thread before but I wasn't able to find it. Anyway, what beer have you guys been drinking lately? Personal favorites? Beers you can't stand? Discuss!

    Now this is my kinda thread!

    I have one clear mission in my life: to drink every beer in the world. An impossible task but one I'll have lots of fun aiming to achieve.

    I'll drink any type of beer but my favourites are the Pale Ale variety. Higher ABV IPAs, American Pale Ales or New England IPAs to be specific. I tend to find that beers at about 6-7% ABV have the dense flavour profile I like.

    But I'll drink anything. Stouts, porters, lambics. You name it! Lagers I tend to stay away from just because to me they are not part of an experimental approach, you drink them for the effects they have on you. I don't drink to get drunk any more, I drink to either socialise for a couple of hours, to relax or to try something new.

    Even brew my own beer although since kids that has happened. My last beer was bloody lovely! Although I did use slightly too much crystal malt.

    @cpt awesome WPG joint acc great to another Untappd user on here! How many individual beers have you got logged?

    Beer is weirdly one of my favourite flavours but I don't like the alcohol in it. Luckily, alcohol free is big now and I find myself trying some nice stuff!

    Yeah stores around me don’t really carry it either. I gotta go to a liquor store near me that carries a wide range of beers.

    You ever drink any Leinenkugel in Wisconsin? Definitely one of my favorite brands. Their berry weiss is the best tasting beer I’ve ever had.

    d--- maybe its an east coast thing i used to see it often. wtf u doin in utah btw lol

    and ya im like @Donkey Kong Cuntry - havent rly drank during quarantine def lost 10-15 lbs fast shout out space monkey. tho unlike BC i never had a problem :p s/o @icecube i was brewing in my basement like in march

    Leinies Summer Shandy is like the go-to casual beer up there, imo. Berry Weiss is also great. The real gem of Wisconsin is New Glarus Spotted Cow lol


    Felt like getting a change of climate. I was born and raised up there and the ~5 months of potential winter weather got old (although I probably won't get any sympathy from people on the east coast, lol)

    So naturally I moved out to south-west UT for the desert and mountains and now my gf and I are looking for houses in Arizona (hella cheaper there).

    oh word. never been to utah so jealous of u... went to Phoenix last yr tho and ur def right, its on the uptick lots of space everything is 'new' compared to new england. my buddy moved to scottsdale he loves it. like even the bars have so many more amenities to compared to , say, boston....smh

    Hey man just bc I’ve slept in a bathroom before doesn’t mean I ever had a problem with alcohol...

    (rly though beyond casual college alcoholism I never had an issue with it. Post 25 or so the hangover stopped being worth it for me)
